The Cutest Jumper!

A couple of weeks ago, I bought my sister a Mickey Mouse jumper for her birthday this February. Typically, my sister then went and bought the same jumper so I started looking for another gift for her. I had a look on the John Lewis website and found a really cute jumper by Mango that I thought was perfect since we are going to America later this year.

It was in the sale, reduced from £19.99 to £12.99 and I loved it so much, I bought one for myself as well. I bought my own in the size Medium - usually I wear a small but I thought it would be more comfortable to have a larger jumper that isn't so tight fitting so I went for the next size up, snapping up the last Medium available at JohnLewis.com (sorry!)

I love the style of this jumper - it contains a distressed picture of the American Flag in a heart across the front of the chest, with the white stripes instead being the grey colour of the jumper. There is actually an alternate version whereby the flag is in greyscale so there is no colour, but I loved the bright red and blue of this version.

The jumper itself is quite a thin fabric, though it is thicker than a shirt, so it is definitely more of a fashion statement than a way to keep warm. It isn't a full-length jumper - it is cropped slightly though it still manages to cover all of my long body if I pair it with jeans so it is not too short.

The one thing I dislike about this is the feel of the fabric as it feels quite rough at the moment, though I am hoping this might soften when I have washed it a few times. Regardless, it is not too uncomfortable to wear.

Overall, I really love this jumper. I haven't had the chance to wear it out yet - partly because I have been a bit of a hermit recently and also partly because I don't want my sister to see it before her birthday as I don't want to give away the surprise: I believe it will be more special for her to see it for the first time on her birthday.

I can really see myself wearing this a lot, particularly during the spring and autumn, or on cold summer days, when I need something a little thicker/longer than a regular t-shirt. Either way, I am definitely taking this to America with me later in the year, the first in my extensive "Disney Wardrobe"!

What have you been wearing recently?

    1. Aw thank you, I kind of wish I'd bought the grey-scale version of it too before it sold out because it is a really nice jumper!
