Body Shop Haul December 2014

At the very start of this month, my boyfriend and I took a trip to the Body Shop. He works in the same shopping centre as our local Body Shop branch so as a result, he, along with his family and friends, were treated to 50% discount from the store for a few days only. I knew I had to take advantage of this amazing offer so I dragged him there and wandered around the store for over an hour while I found the perfect items.

Beauty Haul, November 2014

I realised recently that I haven’t done a haul post in what feels like a while; it’s not because I haven’t been buying anything, it’s more that I have been buying bits and bobs and I didn’t want to do haul posts where I am showing one or two items. When I realised I hadn’t posted in a while, I collated all of the beauty-related items I bought for myself in November to show you guys, I hope you enjoy it!

Boots Haul October 2014

When I found out Boots were having an event on whereby Advantage Card holders could spent £50 to earn £12 worth of points, I knew I had to take advantage of this. It was a little bit of an indulgence shopping spree as I didn't really need anything that I bought and I'm not going to lie - part of me feels as though I bought unnecessary items just to earn the extra points. However, looking at everything I bought, I am glad I did so!

Body Shop/Make-up Haul, October 2014

I feel like I have been posting quite a few haul posts recently, and no doubt there will be another one soon as Boots have an advantage card event on this Thursday, but I thought I would show you some of my recent Body Shop purchases. I went for a look around last week while I waited for my boyfriend to finish work and I ended up buying some makeup and FINALLY getting a Body Shop loyalty card! I have been to the Body Shop quite a lot recently but have always put off actually getting the loyalty card as there is an initial £5 cost, however I probably would have saved more than the £5 in discount bonuses if I had got the card a few months ago.

Maybelline Baby Lips Review

Maybelline 2
I had heard a lot of hype surrounding the Maybelline Baby Lips products so when I went into Boots earlier in the year and saw they were on a Buy One Get One Half Price offer, I knew I had to get some immediately. I decided to buy the Hydrate lip balm to see if it could cure my dry lips and also the Pink Punch one as I loved the idea of a tinted lip balm. I have always wanted to wear pink lipstick but I am too afraid of buying some and wearing the solid, noticeable colour - I thought this colouring would be a bit more subtle.
I was super excited to try them both out and loved how easily they glided onto my lips, but the results were actually incredibly disappointing.

John Lewis Clearance Haul Summer 2014

Large Collage
At the end of July, I had a quick look on JohnLewis.com at the stuff they had in Clearance. I ended up finding a good bargain quite quickly – a £39 swimming costume for £11.90! I clicked on it and found that they only had a few left but my size was one of them! I thought this was a good omen so continued to look around the website and found 5 items in total that I thought were great bargains but even better clothes.

Body Shop/Boots Haul 22/8/2014

For the past few weeks, I have been seeing The Body Shop's Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter online quite a lot. Since my makeup-remover is quickly running out, I figured I would try some of this cleansing butter. It has probably been over a year since I last went to the Body Shop but I find that whenever I do, I always spend a lot...
Body Shop Haul Collage
  1. The Body Shop Sensual Massage Oil - £10
  2. Quick Fix Brightening Peel Mask from Boots - £4.99
  3. The Body Shop Silky Cleansing Oil - £10
  4. The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser - £8.50
  5. The Body Shop Monoi Miracle Oil - £10
  6. The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter for all skin types - £12
So far I have only used the Massage Oil and Monoi Miracle Oil but I am impressed by both. While they're not the cheapest items, they were on a Buy One Get One Half Price offer and since they're oils, I know they will last a long time. Even though it's not been a week since I left the Body Shop, I've already got my eye on some more items I want to buy ASAP...

Peace, love and happiness
