Fingers crossed, I am going on holiday in June. It is my 21st birthday at the end of May so I would love to go on a hot, beach holiday to a place where I can do nothing and not feel bad about it. As a result, I have been doing a little bit of holiday shopping, both for the potential holiday in June and also for my definite Orlando holiday in September.

Lessons from America #2 - Snowboarding
It is crazy to believe that 365 short days ago, I was in New York. It seems so surreal to believe that an entire year has passed by since the end of my American Adventure but, as the phrase says, time goes on, no matter how much we want it to, which is why I'm glad to be looking over this adventure and refreshing my memory on how much I accomplished last year.

My Guilty Pleasure...
I don’t know if you are aware of this but Netflix have recently added a few more films/TV shows onto their website, which has coincided quite well for me as I have had a little bit of time off work as of late. I am usually quite an active person, in the sense that I don’t like spending a lot of time lounging around doing nothing, but I have rediscovered a favourite of my shows during my time off, which is the subject of my most recent Wednesday Favourite posts.

The Cutest Jumper!
A couple of weeks ago, I bought my sister a Mickey Mouse jumper for her birthday this February. Typically, my sister then went and bought the same jumper so I started looking for another gift for her. I had a look on the John Lewis website and found a really cute jumper by Mango that I thought was perfect since we are going to America later this year.

Review: Simple Pore Minimising Toning Cleanser
Before buying this, I had never used a toner before, nor did I truly know what one was. After quickly Googling it, I can tell you that a toner’s purpose is to cleanse the skin, shrink the appearance of pores and restore the skin’s pH. I suffer quite a bit from large pores and I don’t think it’s an attractive look so I’m constantly on the lookout for a that one product that will make my skin look flawless without wearing any make-up. When I saw this in Sainsbury’s a few months ago, I decided to spend the £4.85 and get this Simple Kind to Skin Pore Minimising Toning Cleanser.

Lessons from America #1 - Getting to Denver
This
time last year, I was in Denver, visiting my cousin and his family. I stayed
with them for twelve days before heading to Pennsylvania, Boston and finally
meeting up with my boyfriend in New York before coming back home. It was a
whirlwind of a time, a roller coaster of emotions and saturated with lessons. I
think I learned more about myself in those 19 days in America than I have in
the rest of my life. However, recently I feel as though I have been sidetracked
and almost reverted back to the person I was before I went to America, so I
would like to recap on my time in the USA to refresh those lessons.

Review: Fitbit Flex
Back in August, my boyfriend received some Love to Shop vouchers from his workplace as a "thank you and congrats on hitting your sales target". Since we were trying to be healthy, we had been looking at heart rate monitors and activity trackers so, being the lovely gem that he is, he bought both of us a Fitbit each.

Achieving Anything In One Year
I was clearing out my emails on my break at work earlier today and saw that I had an email from Amazon, suggesting books that I would like to read. One of the categories was “Most Wished For” and the cover that accompanied it was from the book Achieve Anything in Just One Year: Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dreams and Accomplish Your Goals. I had heard of the book before so decided to check it out online. When I saw that it was only £1.99 (usually £5.68) I thought to myself why not and hit the "buy now" button.

Book Review: The Gift
I have loved Cecelia Ahern ever since first reading her novel P.S. I Love You. I’ll admit that I jumped on the bandwagon a bit with that book but come on, I was only 11 when it was first published! Ever since reading PS I Love You, I have always bought Cecelia’s books almost immediately after their release and I especially loved the presentation of The Gift.
With shiny silver bows on a matte silver background and a gift tag revealing the novel's name and author, this book is designed to look like a gift, especially when you turn it around and see the folds of paper on the back as though it were a wrapped present. What was even nicer about this is that it originally came with a sheer red ribbon tied in a bow around the book to really add to the finish of the presentation. With the presentation of the novel being so high and unique to what I had ever seen before, I had high hopes about the actual content inside the covers and I can’t say that I was disappointed.

Hello January, Hello 2015
December has officially left the building. It doesn’t feel as though it was one week ago that I went to Liverpool with my boyfriend, though in reality we actually went one month ago. December has just completely flown by and the past few days have had me thinking about December and also the year 2014.

100 Days of Happiness, 91-100
Not only does today mark the 100th Day of my 100 Day Resolutions, but it also marks the completion and success of Blogmas and my final post of 2014! A couple of days ago, I found my notepad containing notes about participating in Blogtober and what I wanted to do for me 100 Day Resolutions and it feels like I only wrote it one month ago, not 100 days ago! I remember sitting on the sofa in the conservatory, curled up under my blanket while having a brainstorm. And now, here we are on the other side of it.
Is there anything out there to make time slow-down?! Anyways, here is my final Happy Days post.

Updating My Bucket List
I was looking through my Bucket List earlier and I realised that I had crossed off some of my aspirations without realising I had done so, so I thought I would write a post detailing a little more about some of the things I have accomplished over the past couple of months in terms of my Bucket List.
