Hello January, Hello 2015

December has officially left the building. It doesn’t feel as though it was one week ago that I went to Liverpool with my boyfriend, though in reality we actually went one month ago. December has just completely flown by and the past few days have had me thinking about December and also the year 2014.

100 Days of Happiness, 91-100

Not only does today mark the 100th Day of my 100 Day Resolutions, but it also marks the completion and success of Blogmas and my final post of 2014! A couple of days ago, I found my notepad containing notes about participating in Blogtober and what I wanted to do for me 100 Day Resolutions and it feels like I only wrote it one month ago, not 100 days ago! I remember sitting on the sofa in the conservatory, curled up under my blanket while having a brainstorm. And now, here we are on the other side of it.
Is there anything out there to make time slow-down?! Anyways, here is my final Happy Days post.

Christmas 2014

Christmas is almost over; the turkey is gone, the bins are full of wrapping paper and the family is sleeping away the meat sweats. This Christmas has been a good, family-orientated Christmas for me so I thought it would be nice to share a few of the photos we took yesterday to celebrate our lives, health and love.

My Favourite Christmas Traditions

With Christmas literally just around the corner, I have been thinking about traditions that every family has around this time of year. It always used to interest me that one of my friends opened his presents after lunch, as my family always used to open them pretty much first thing in the morning, and I think because of that, other people's traditions really entertain me so I thought I would share mine.

1. Spending Christmas at my grandparents' house.
2. Wrapping presents while watching Beauty and the Beast: the Enchanted Christmas (I feel like I have mentioned that film too many times over the last few weeks!)
3. Making mince pies on Christmas Eve (though admittedly I have skipped this for the past two years)
4. Getting nice and dressed up for the photo opportunities.
5. Opening presents as early as my family will allow.
6. Receiving Guylian seashells, a diary, a toothbrush and underwear every year.
7. Eating unhealthy amounts of junk food (primarily chocolate)
8. Eating too much Christmas Dinner to move afterwards.
9. Watching the soaps in the evening.
10. Feeling very overwhelmed with feelings of love and happiness.

They are my most prominent and traditional traditions surrounding the Christmas period that I really wish to continue experiencing throughout my life, while providing them for my future children too!

What are some of your favourite Christmas traditions?

The Christmas Tag!

With only two days to go until Christmas, I thought I would do a little post answering some typical Christmas questions. I am sure that there are many Christmas Tags out there but I have decided to create this one as a combination of some of the tags I have read this month and some of my own questions. Enjoy!

100 Happy Days, 81-90

So another 10 days has passed and, as much as I hate to admit it, I feel as though you should all know I am currently in bed with a massive cold. Yep, I managed to get ill less than a week before Christmas. I got ill about two days ago, primarily with a sore throat and a bit of a cough. However, that has now subsided into a humongous cold which consists of a runny nose and a stuffy head so I am sniffing a lot and inhaling tons of Vicks and I just can't seem to get relief! Are any of you feeling unwell or am I the only one? Regardless, I knew I couldn't abolish my Blogmas streak of posting for 21 days in a row so here is my 22nd post this month, my happy points for the past ten days.

My Christmas Guilty Pleasure

So with only one week until Christmas, I have recently been thinking about Christmas traditions and, more specifically, guilty pleasures around Christmastime.

Book Review: Abducted

A couple of days, ago, I finished reading the book Abducted by T. R. Ragan after 9 days of reading and I have to say that generally I quite liked the novel so want to share with you a review of the book.

Last Minute/Secret Santa Gift Ideas

There are only 10 days until Christmas! How crazy is it to think that Christmas is only next week?! With that in mind, I am sure that there are a few of you who still have a few Christmas presents left to get before the big day so I thought I would share with you some inexpensive, potential Secret Santa small gifts.

Why I Love Christmas

I am a massive fan of Christmas. I think there is something magical about the entire season that makes me feel warm and tingly inside and recently, I have been thinking about why it makes me feel like such a kid as soon as the Christmas merchandise rolls out in stores.

100 Days of Happiness, 71-80

To think that we are 80 days into my 100 Day resolutions is scary. It doesn't feel like it was that long ago that I set myself the resolutions so to be 4/5 of the way through it is mind-blowing, though these posts are a good way of keeping track of the time! So, without an incredibly long introduction, here are my happy points from days 71-80.

Next Christmas Wish List!

Recently, I have been trying to get into fashion a bit more since I feel like I pay a lot of attention to my make-up and occasionally to my hair but I don't put as much effort into what I am wearing. My current coat is more practical than fashionable and the two pairs of boots I wear are either awkward to get on/take-off or not practical for wet weather, leaving me feeling as though my efforts in make-up and hair are sometimes wasted. Wanting to expand my fashion wardrobe, I went online to Next and created myself a little wishlist.

I Love Winter Tag

I saw this tag over on Beautyminati's blog and I loved it! I will be attempting to participate in Blogmas this month and while I have most of my posts planned out for the next fortnight, I realised there weren't many posts specific to Winter/December/Christmas so when I saw her post this, I knew I had to 'borrow' the tag :)
